This course is dedicated to understanding and practicing integrated palliative care for people dealing with cancer through touch therapy and trauma release.

We will talk honestly and without fear about issues that are characteristic to the oncology environment – what is cancer; what happens to the body when cancer strikes; what are the emotional, mental and spiritual aspects; what are the standard and innovative courses of treatment in conventional medicine; what are their side effects; what are the phases that cancer patients experience; what is palliative care.

But mostly the course is based on hands-on practice of touch therapy techniques that apply to the oncological environment, treating various side effects, trauma, pain management, lack of sleep, neuropathy, etc..

In this course we will explore the fascinating and intriguing opportunities that present themselves when Eastern traditions interact with modern methods like Fascia Manipulation.

We will practice attentive presence, therapeutic intent and flexibility. Navigate through the integrative approach, dance, meditate, exercise Qui Gong and explore our own therapeutic stance when facing life threatening illness.
